We all know that being a mom is the most difficult job in the world. It will never be easy to bear and take care of a child. Beneath all the difficulties, I still do my best to be the mother that my son deserves. The most rightful decision I had made in my life. That is one thing I could hold dear and will never be regretful about forever. Here are some of the perks of being a mom.
1. You get to see your baby’s “first”.
Indescribable feeling when you get to see your baby’s first smile. Watching his first walk, seeing him clap his hands when he is happy, hearing him say “mommy” and seeing him giving you flying kisses.
2. You are the queen of his little world.
The bond between you and your baby is way much stronger than any other person. It deeply develops during the first few years. We cannot compare that kind of closeness to any relationship. You are his shield. He will always look for you. He will always seek for a mother’s touch. His world revolves around you.
3. You get to learn new things together.
You sing. You count. We dance. You watch cartoons together and memorize the characters too. Simple things in life that you make every day with such great memories together.
4. You can now define what LIFE is.
Your life has more meaning now than it used to. You now have a clear direction as to what you will look for in the future. It is not about you anymore, but your baby is your life now.
5. You can now love UNCONDITIONALLY.
You just love your baby so much that sometimes you realized that you left nothing for yourself but, who cares? Your child is the best gift you can ever imagine having.
For my son: Thank you so much for coming into my life. We waited almost 5 years for you and that is like equivalent to a lifetime of waiting. You made me and Daddy realized that miracles do happen. You might not be able to understand this now but I always thank the heavens for giving us such a wonderful gift like you. We could not ask for a better gift than having you as our one and only son. I hope you will grow up as a wonderful and God-fearing child. We are always here for you. I love you beyond forever.
Your Happy Mom,
Stephie
