Hello Reader 👋
It’s Stephanie here, your fellow WAHM and printable creator.

Is this the name you would like to be greeted with?
If not, please click “Reply” and write me back with exactly the name I should have above. In this way, you will be helping me to improve your experience every time you open one of my messages
🤗 .

Ever felt like you’re stuck in the middle?

The fear of losing what little you have stops you from taking a leap of faith. When you’re down, at least you’ve got nothing to lose. And when you’re on top, well, you’re used to dealing with falls.

Right?

You don’t want to shake things up too much because you know your loved ones won’t get your dreams. After all, they care about you so that’s exactly why they would rather have you play safe (aka a “normal” yet boring 9 to 5 job).

Right?

While you strive to create cherished moments with your loved ones, your mind wanders to the enticing promo campaign you aspire to launch. And as you endeavor to concentrate on the campaign, the memories of past occasions where you didn’t fully savor your family time come rushing back.

Right?

The pandemic and the surge of AI have turned the tables on printable creation. The more time goes by, the less I feel ready to commit (or even recommit) to any biz model at the moment. I prefer to keep exploring. Dig into who I truly am by reflecting on my previous experiences and uncovering my genuine desires and interests, rather than merely adopting those of others for the sake of convenience.

I attended my first in-person event in ages this June and realized how much I missed trotting around. I yearned for genuine contact and real-life experiences, not ONLY the virtual ones. That’s what I want from my creativity as well.

As I mentioned in my last email, I have come to realize that intentionally slowing down and adopting a more deliberate pace helps me resist the impulse to conform with the crowd. As Joseph Campbell famously said,

“If you can see your path laid out in front of you step by step, you know it’s not your path.”

This quote is actually from his book The Hero’s Journey and is all about living your own life and embarking on your own journey of self-discovery. He’s not telling you to start from scratch. Campbell is talking about the unique potential each of us has. Trust your gut, even if others tell you your dreams are impossible or silly. You might often tread the common path, but when will you do something that’s truly you? Will you gift the world with your uniqueness before you leave? Only you can know that! No one can force it on you or tell you to do it. It’s a journey you undertake within yourself.

I see this quote as a nudge that you can learn from someone who’s been around longer, but since you are unique, your life will also be unique. At some point, you’ll have a chance to outgrow even your mentor’s wisdom and societal norms. That’s the hero’s journey—to have the guts to enter the darkest part of the forest where there’s no path.

Will you take up that challenge when it comes along?

Hit reply and let me know. I’d love to get your feedback on this week’s topic.
Hey! Our discussion could even be the catalyst for breaking free from the middle!

Cheers to your potential!

Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product.
