Business as usual. Or not?

Hello Reader 👋
(and yes — I’m genuinely glad you chose to keep hearing from me.)

Lately, I’ve been noticing something in my inbox.

Some people are saying they’re changing plans.
Pausing launches.
Reworking calendars.
Because what’s happening in the world doesn’t make it feel like doing “business as usual.”

Others are carrying on as if nothing is happening at all.

I’ve been sitting with that contrast.

Not to judge it.
Just to understand where
I want to stand.

Here’s where I’ve landed.

The world has never been calm for very long.
If it’s not one thing, it’s another — sometimes natural, sometimes human-made, often far away… until it isn’t.

So waiting for the “right moment” to show up usually means waiting forever.

That doesn’t mean pretending nothing is happening.
And it doesn’t mean pushing, exploiting, or taking advantage of uncertainty.

For me, it means choosing how I show up.

And, as a creative work-at-home mom, this looks very concrete.

It looks like keeping a bit of rhythm at home even when the news feels heavy.
It looks like not pretending nothing is happening, but also not letting fear run the house.

It’s choosing to have real conversations with my son.
Letting questions come up.
Showing that it’s possible to have opinions without attacking others.
That we can stay open to the world without becoming cynical or numb.

I don’t have all the answers — but I do get to model what it looks like to stay thoughtful, grounded, and human in the middle of it all.

Those moments matter more than we think.

As a low-content creator, it can show up in what we choose to make.

Not louder things.
Not trend-chasing things.
But simple, thoughtful tools that help people feel a little more grounded.
A little more organized.
A little more capable of meeting their own lives.

Because usefulness, especially in moments like these, is meaningful.

I know a lot of creators get stuck right here — not because they lack ideas, but because it’s hard to see what’s worth creating when everything already feels full.

So I took some time to make the invisible a bit more visible.

I put together a short list of low-content product ideas inspired by real life — family rhythms, reflection, orientation, everyday steadiness.

Nothing complicated.
Nothing exploitative.
Just ideas that can genuinely support people where they are.

👉 I gathered everything into this simple Google Doc

No pressure to turn this into anything today.

Think of it as a lens — something to come back to when you’re wondering what would actually matter to create.

And this is where experience design comes in for me.

Whether we’re creating products, routines, or conversations, we’re shaping experiences all the time, often without realizing it.

The tone we set.
The friction we remove.
The care we build into small interactions.

We can add to the noise, the confusion, the us-vs-them energy…
or we can design moments that feel human, respectful, and steady.

Not because we have all the answers.
But because we’re choosing to contribute something better than silence or reactivity.

I don’t believe we’re meant to stop showing up every time the world feels unstable.
I do believe we’re meant to show up
with intention.

So yes — focused topic emails are coming soon, and I’m grateful you chose to be here for them.

But today, I wanted to speak to all of you at once.
Human to human.

This is how I’m choosing to show up right now.
Creative. Careful. Hopeful. On purpose.

Here to support you think, create, and build differently.

P.S.: You don’t have to fix the world to make a difference.
Sometimes showing up with care, clarity, and creativity is already doing more than you think.

NOTE: I’m moving things around in the backend to make room for a new project. Can you help me spot “bad experiences” regarding my site, your members’ area, communications, or whatever? I would really appreciate your help with this! It will make it so much easier for me to fix and improve everything that needs attention. Thank you!

Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product. However, I only ever mention products I love and would recommend whether I was being compensated or not. Always use due diligence when buying anything and remember, what works for me may not always work for you!
