Hello and welcome to my experience design lens series, Reader 👋 Not theory. The parts most people don’t see. Looking for a previous issue? They are all available to read on my website. 🔍 🔍 🔍 Say what? I almost created a membership this week! No joke. Before even sharing my steampunk image on Monday and getting several replies asking for the prompt, I could already feel my brain running ahead. You know the drill… “What if I created themed prompt packs?” Five minutes later I was basically planning a whole new business 😆 The funny part? That’s not even what people were responding to. Because once the conversations started happening, something else became obvious. People weren’t really interested in prompting. The image made something visible. Personality. Things that are usually hard to explain with words alone. And suddenly I realized something. Not because it looked cool. Now that’s one thing I’ve been saying for a while. But seeing it happen in real life when I wasn’t even looking for it? Which brings me to something I’ve been thinking about as we start a new quarter. Sometimes the most valuable thing isn’t the result. But we miss it because we’re already busy planning the next project. Trust me, I’ve been there 😄 So instead of rushing into a new membership this week… And paying attention to what’s actually happening before deciding what happens next. That feels like a much better use of my energy right now. Maybe yours too.
PS2: Sometimes the biggest breakthrough isn’t finding the answer. NOTE: I’m moving things around in the backend to make room for a new project. Can you help me spot “bad experiences” regarding my site, your members’ area, communications, or whatever? I would really appreciate your help with this! It will make it so much easier for me to fix and improve everything that needs attention. Thank you! === . Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product. However, I only ever mention products I love and would recommend whether I was being compensated or not. Always use due diligence when buying anything and remember, what works for me may not always work for you! Thank you so much for your support of Stephie The Happy Mom!
