🎨 Double down on what AI can’t do

By Stephie

Hello and Welcome to the Creative Playground, Reader!

Pull up a chair, grab a coffee, and let’s see what becomes possible when we revisit, remix, and reimagine what’s already right in front of us.

Because sometimes the next opportunity isn’t something new. It’s seeing what you already have differently.

~ 🎨 ~

You may have noticed things look a little different around here.

After months of rabbit holes, experiments, unexpected discoveries, and more than a few “wait a minute…” moments, this newsletter finally has an official name.

Creative Playground felt right.

Because creativity isn’t just about making new things.
Often, it’s about seeing new possibilities in things that already exist.

And speaking of seeing things differently…

I can’t stop thinking about AI!

Shocking, I know 😆

More specifically:
I keep wondering about what happens when digital creators can create almost
anything they have in mind.

Not so long ago, low-content creators had a production problem that could be solved by buying PLR/MRR content, hiring someone else, or doing it themselves.

But most of the tiem?
Generic. Confusing. Expensive. Time consuming.

Today?
I’m not so sure.

In fact, I think we’ve traded one problem for another.

Since it’s easier than ever to create,
more isn’t as much of an advantage anymore.

Read that again 👆
And that👇

The world doesn’t need another printable.

The world doesn’t need another planner.

The world doesn’t need another coloring book.

The world doesn’t need another prompt pack.

(And yes, I say that as someone who almost created a prompt membership last week 😆)

What people are craving is something else.

They want to feel understood.

They want to feel seen.

They want to feel like someone gets them.

They want connection.

Meaning.

Transformation.

They want experiences.

And that’s where things get really interesting.
Because AI can help us create the thing.

But it can’t live our lives.

It can’t accumulate years of experiences, failures, pivots, wins, frustrations, lessons, and observations.

It can’t be curious.

It can’t care.

It can’t notice that one comment everyone else ignored.

It can’t sit with an unexpected result long enough to discover the real insight hiding underneath.

Those are human things.

And I have a feeling they’re about to become a whole lot more valuable.

So maybe the question isn’t:

“How do I use more AI?”

Maybe the question is:

“What should I double down on because AI exists?”

I believe more than ever that the answer is experiences.

The ones that shape us.
And the ones we create for other people.

In a world drowning in content, products, prompts, and information,
a meaningful experience becomes impossible to ignore.

PS: AI made creating easier.
That just means the real differentiator is no longer the product itself.

These can you see things from a different lens:

NOTE: I’m moving things around in the backend to make room for a new project. Can you help me spot “bad experiences” regarding my site, your members’ area, communications, or whatever? I would really appreciate your help with this! It will make it so much easier for me to fix and improve everything that needs attention. Thank you!

Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product. However, I only ever mention products I love and would recommend whether I was being compensated or not. Always use due diligence when buying anything and remember, what works for me may not always work for you!
