Hello and Welcome to Behind the Friction, Reader! Every Friday, I pull back the curtain on something I’ve noticed while working on my own business… hoping it helps you see yours a little differently too. Looking for a previous issue? They are all available to read on my website. ~ ๐ ~ Apparently we’re all supposed to be getting back on track right now. New routines. And probably seventeen gurus explaining what we absolutely need to change before September! But here’s the thing: Being adaptable doesn’t mean changing every time something around you does. Platforms change. Heck, Fiston starts high school next week. Our whole family rhythm is about to change. If I tried to keep up with everything by blindly jumping to the next routine, tool, strategy or shiny solution… I’d be cooked. ๐
Real adaptability needs an anchor. You need to know what you’re trying to keep true while everything else moves around it. That’s why Wednesday I wrote about Fiston taking a game he loved out of Minecraft and recreating it in our house. The container changed. The part he cared about didn’t. โ Your business can work the same way. You don’t have to cling to what’s no longer working. You get to ask: What matters enough to carry forward… and what am I free to change? That’s not falling behind. That’s designing a business that can move without losing itself. โ And if everything around your business is changing and you’re no longer sure what to hold onto, what to change, or what the heck to do next… Hit reply. Tell me what’s shifting. Sometimes you don’t need another strategy for keeping up. You need someone to help you see what shouldn’t get lost in the shuffle. ๐ โ P.S. If your inbox is currently yelling FALL! Q4! NEW STRATEGY! at you too… consider this your permission slip to not immediately rearrange your entire business. ๐ โ . === . NOTE: I’m moving things around in the backend to make room for a new project. Can you help me spot “bad experiences” regarding my site, your members’ area, communications, or whatever? I would really appreciate your help with this! It will make it so much easier for me to fix and improve everything that needs attention. Thank you! === . Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product. However, I only ever mention products I love and would recommend whether I was being compensated or not. Always use due diligence when buying anything and remember, what works for me may not always work for you! Thank you so much for your support of Stephie The Happy Mom!
