Hello and welcome to my experience design lens series, Reader 👋 Not theory. The parts most people don’t see. Looking for a previous issue? They are all available to read on my website. 🔍 🔍 🔍 Something caught my attention this week. A training called: How to Sell When Nothing Works And it made me laugh a little. Because my brain has a very annoying habit. A new product. But if you’ve been reading my emails lately, you understand why I’m making a conscious effort to resist temptation and stay focused on one project at a time. So I can’t wait to see Elizabeth Goddard’s take on that in her free training next week. And to be fair, creating has never been easier!
So you’d think we’d all be swimming in success by now. And yet… The funny thing is that every time I think I need MORE… A few weeks ago, I thought I needed another offer. The sale wasn’t missing. The Evidence Log started the same way. What I really needed And one of my Snapshot clients thought she needed more offers. What she actually needed Different situations. Same lesson. Not a new offer. Not more traffic. Not another product. “Ahhh… this is exactly what I need.” But you know what? I spend a lot of time helping people spot this stuff. And I’m still catching myself doing it too! Which is probably why experience design has become such a big deal for me. Not because I want to optimize everything. Because the more I learn about it, They need someone willing to pay attention. To notice where people hesitate. Where they get confused. Where they quietly leave. And then remove one friction at a time.
The bottleneck isn’t always more. The bottleneck is often where we’re looking. Talk again soon! PS: Sometimes the biggest breakthrough isn’t finding the answer. Here’s what can help: 🤩 https://checkout.elizabethgoddard.co.uk/referral/howtosell/1tkrbpUNje8mFvyj 👉 https://stephiethehappymom.com/log/kit 👉 https://stephiethehappymom.com/snapshot/kit . === . NOTE: I’m moving things around in the backend to make room for a new project. Can you help me spot “bad experiences” regarding my site, your members’ area, communications, or whatever? I would really appreciate your help with this! It will make it so much easier for me to fix and improve everything that needs attention. Thank you! === . Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product. However, I only ever mention products I love and would recommend whether I was being compensated or not. Always use due diligence when buying anything and remember, what works for me may not always work for you! Thank you so much for your support of Stephie The Happy Mom!
