As you probably know if you read my emails on a regular basis, I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed and distracted by the too many things going on in my world lately. It seems like I have so many ideas and projects in my mind, but I can’t focus on any of them. I start something, got interrupted by a household thing and then I lose interest to get back to it. I get anxious, and I switch to something else. And then I end up with a bunch of unfinished printables that are collecting dust on my computer.
Does this sound familiar to you too? If so, you might be suffering from what is called a “monkey mind”. This is a term that comes from Buddhism, and it means that your mind is restless, unsettled, or confused. It’s like a monkey that jumps from one branch to another, never staying still for long. A monkey mind can make it hard for you to concentrate, be productive, and enjoy your work.
I know I’m not alone in this. Many people have a monkey mind, especially in today’s busy and stressful world. I use meditation, Quigong and walking as ways to calm my monkey mind and train it to be more focused and peaceful. It’s a work in progress for sure! There are some other helpful ways such as mindfulness, breathing exercises, journaling, and positive affirmations.
Sometimes, having a monkey mind can be a blessing in disguise, because it means that you have many ideas and possibilities to explore.
I hope you don’t let your monkey mind stop you from creating amazing printables for your online business. You have so much talent and potential, and I’m here to support you and cheer you on 🤗

If you’re wondering why I’m suddenly all about monkeys, all I can say is that it has something to do with the new a-maze-ing product I’m working on and decided to build curiosity around it as part of my week 3 promo.
Instead of fighting to stick to the basic form, I gave up, letting the inspiration guide me. And oh boy, it’s sh-ape-ing up like a chimp-ion!
Yep, you may think I’m going bananas and you’re right!
And I’d love you to join me in my monkey business the time I’m completing that said ape-ic product!
Even if it’s not done yet, I’m sticking to my words to have a new product in store every week in August. But there’s a catch this time… I’m pre-selling it without revealing what it is! (regular price will be $27)
I’m taking $10 off, minus the bday45 discount, making it to only $9.35 until Monday.
Who’s going bananas with me?

Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product. However, I only ever mention products I love and would recommend whether I was being compensated or not. Always use due diligence when buying anything and remember, what works for me may not always work for you!
Thank you so much for your support of Stephie The Happy Mom!
