Hello and welcome to my experience design lens series, Reader π Not theory. The parts most people donβt see. Looking for a previous issue? They are all available to read on my website. π π£ π β Over the past couple of weeks, Iβve been naming a few patterns: The EffortβOutcome Gap. Today, thereβs a third one quietly sitting underneath both: β There might be something hidden in this email. Or not. β Itβs easier than we think to assume something isnβt working. So we adjust. β Not because the value isnβt there. But because something in how itβs being seenβ¦ isnβt landing. β Hidden in plain sight is often where the real problem sits. The idea makes sense to you. But from the outside? Something doesnβt connect. β Thatβs the gap. Not between effort and results. But between whatβs thereβ¦ β If something youβve created feels βgoodβ but isnβt landingβ¦ it might not need more work. It might just need to be easier to see. β If you think you spotted it, hit reply and tell me what you found. Iβll pick one of you and help you uncover what might be hiding in your own work. β If youβre celebrating this weekend, β β Psssst… When something is obvious to you but not to others, thatβs not a communication problem. Itβs an experience gap. (Itβs also kind of my thingβ¦ making those invisible gaps visible so your effort can finally turn into money.) . === . NOTE: I’m moving things around in the backend to make room for a new project. Can you help me spot “bad experiences” regarding my site, your members’ area, communications, or whatever? I would really appreciate your help with this! It will make it so much easier for me to fix and improve everything that needs attention. Thank you! === . Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product. However, I only ever mention products I love and would recommend whether I was being compensated or not. Always use due diligence when buying anything and remember, what works for me may not always work for you! Thank you so much for your support of Stephie The Happy Mom! To make sure you keep getting these emails, please add [email protected] to your address book or whitelist us. β |
