Hello, hello Reader 👋 Is this the name you would like to be greeted with? This weekend, while my husband and son were out making memories on the ATV trails, I was at home with a different kind of adventure: my X-Factor exam. By the way, if you’ve ever bought from, used, or even just noticed either of these brands, Peloton or Daily Harvest, I’d love to hear your impressions, as it would greatly help me for my exam. It’s deep, focused work — and honestly, it reminded me how tricky it can be to stay present when your brain keeps circling around all the other things still unfinished. Psychologists actually have a name for that: the Zeigarnik Effect. Back in the 1920s, Bluma Zeigarnik discovered that our brains hold onto uncompleted tasks with a kind of “task-specific tension.” Basically: unfinished stuff pulls at us until it’s resolved. But here’s the good news → you can use this to your advantage. That’s the magic of the Zeigarnik Effect: when you close (or plan for) what’s unfinished, you free up energy for what really matters — creativity, focus, even family time. And that’s exactly what I want to bring into The Nest’s Second Flight. Not just more “stuff” to do, but momentum that feels lighter, more alive, and more in rhythm with real life.
Back to my own test flight with the exam… let’s hope I stick the landing! P.S. Have you ever tried Peloton or Daily Harvest — or even just noticed them in ads? I’d love your quick take. Hit reply with your impressions — it’ll help me more than you know. 👉 The Nest doors are closed for now, but the waitlist is open if you’d like to join me for this next chapter 🛫 === NOTE: I’m moving things around in the backend to make room for a new project. Can you help me spot “bad experiences” regarding my site, your members’ area, communications, or whatever? I would really appreciate your help with this! It will make it so much easier for me to fix and improve everything that needs attention. Thank you! === Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product. However, I only ever mention products I love and would recommend whether I was being compensated or not. Always use due diligence when buying anything and remember, what works for me may not always work for you! Thank you so much for your support of Stephie The Happy Mom!
