When creativity pulls you in two directions

Hello, hello Reader 👋
This is Stephanie, your supportive fellow WAHM.

Is this the name you would like to be greeted with?
If not, please click “Reply” and write me back with exactly the name I should have above. In this way, you will be helping me to improve your experience every time you open one of my messages
🤗 .

Ever felt like your creativity wants two totally different things at once?
Mine sure does.

Lately, it’s been this strange, beautiful dance between…
🌱 Inner creativity — the big ideas, the nudges, the personal insights
🛠️ Outer creativity — the emails, the offers, the visible stuff people actually see

Sometimes they’re in sync. Other times, it’s a tug-of-war.

Like last week, when my husband and son asked me to come to the park with them…
Just as I was knee-deep in designing a new section for the Field Trip journal.

And you know what?
Both mattered.
Both were part of the creative path.

The real magic is learning to move with the seasons—not fight them.
To shape things gently around what’s real, instead of forcing structure where it doesn’t fit.

That’s exactly how the Field Trip journal is coming to life.
Not from a neatly outlined master plan.
But from lived experience. Daily sparks. Real conversations.

Especially inside The Nest new WhatsApp community.

Even on my wobbliest days, showing up there feels like plugging into a current of creative trust.

It’s not about “keeping up.”
It’s about staying close to what actually lights us up.

If your creativity’s been calling for a gentler, truer rhythm—maybe this is your season to say yes.

The Nest is open, and you’re invited. 🪺
Join us here if your wings are twitching just a little.

Thanks for being part of my journey,

Stéphanie

NOTE: I’m moving things around in the backend to make room for a new project. Can you help me spot “bad experiences” regarding my site, your members’ area, communications, or whatever? I would really appreciate your help with this! It will make it so much easier for me to fix and improve everything that needs attention. Thank you!

Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product. However, I only ever mention products I love and would recommend whether I was being compensated or not. Always use due diligence when buying anything and remember, what works for me may not always work for you!

Thank you so much for your support of Stephie The Happy Mom!
