The theme that I have chosen for this year is centered around the concept of self-discipline. However, thus far, it seems that my life has become more of an exciting experiment than a deliberate practice of self-control!
Well, why not?
It makes sense after all!
I refuse to blindly follow in someone else’s footsteps. Instead, I will embark on a journey of experimentation to discover the optimum path towards achieving the self-discipline that I desire!

And sure enough, when you set any type of intention, your reticular activation system truly comes into play to assist you!
Whada?!? The reticular activation system is the part of the brain responsible for filtering and prioritizing information based on our intentions and goals. It’s like programming your brain to notice opportunities and resources that align with your desired outcome.
So, by setting a theme for my year ahead, I’ve essentially primed my mind to recognize and seize the right opportunities to cultivate self-discipline and make progress towards my goals while allowing myself to experiment what could be right for me.
And just like that, UPS was delivering me that shirt just as I was hitting send on my last email where I was sharing my first thoughts about my creative exploration journey…

Now, I feel like I’m overwhelmed with possibilities!
Here are the few I choose to commit:

Among the creative explorations I undertook lately was the discovery of reverse coloring. I love that twist of adding lines instead of color to a page.
It was a pleasure to go through Ken’s new training on that topic, and so I felt inspired to create a bonus for it. My motivation for it was through the roof at the beginning, but to be honest, it started to drop day after day when I saw that none of you were taking me up on my recommendation… So I stopped working on it.
Was it the training? My bonus?
Feel free to let me know. Or not.
I’m about to move on to my next creative exploration UNLESS I get at least one sale notification by the end of today.
