Hello and welcome to my printables and low-content creation series, Reader 👋 Looking for a previous issue? They are all available to read on my website. 🎨 🎨 🎨 Last week, I shared how I’ve been sitting with a lot of open loops lately. Including one big question: Do I even want to keep my printable store?!? With some annual renewals coming up, it felt like the right time to decide. What stays. And if I’m honest… I was leaning toward letting it go.
Then something unexpected happened. Over the weekend, I joined a little challenge inside Barrington’s Skool group. The idea was simple: So I thought… okay. If I’m going to let my printables go anyway, why not give one of them a last shot? But when I went back to look at them… I didn’t see what I expected. I didn’t see “old products.” I saw potential I had completely missed. Around the same time, I had a few conversations with Melissa (from The Cookie Jar). And something clicked. We weren’t talking about creating more. We were talking about something else entirely: Hidden assets. And suddenly, everything I’ve been exploring lately came together. Maybe it’s not about choosing between… my printable work | my experience design consulting. Maybe the real opportunity is right in the middle. Not creating more. But seeing what’s already there… differently. So I looked even more closely at that printable to see how I can Rework it. Restructure it. Enhance the experience. Same core idea. Very different way of being seen. I didn’t expect to say this a few days ago… But I’m not letting my printables go! Not yet. There’s something here worth exploring. PS: Sometimes it’s not that something isn’t working. It’s that you’re no longer seeing it the way someone else does. . === . NOTE: I’m moving things around in the backend to make room for a new project. Can you help me spot “bad experiences” regarding my site, your members’ area, communications, or whatever? I would really appreciate your help with this! It will make it so much easier for me to fix and improve everything that needs attention. Thank you! === . Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product. However, I only ever mention products I love and would recommend whether I was being compensated or not. Always use due diligence when buying anything and remember, what works for me may not always work for you! Thank you so much for your support of Stephie The Happy Mom!
