[🎨] I couldn’t answer this simple question

Hello and welcome to my printables and low-content creation series, Reader 👋

Looking for a previous issue? They are all available to read on my website.

🎨 🎨 🎨

For a long time, I kept feeling like I wasn’t really making progress.

Even on weeks where I was working consistently.

It all felt…

Scattered.
Hard to measure.
Easy to forget.

And each time I paused and asked:

“Am I actually making progress?”

…I didn’t have a clear answer.

Not because nothing was happening.

But because most of it felt… invisible.

So instead of trying another system or template, I did something simpler:

I built something that would make sense of my days.
A way to record what I actually did, without overthinking it.

No journaling.
No productivity system.
No “what did I learn today?”

Just:
what happened.

And I’ve been doing that for the past few months.

Nothing rigid.
Nothing perfect.

Just… noticing.

And something shifted.

Patterns became easier to see.
Decisions felt lighter.
Even small things started to count.

It made me realize something important:

Sometimes the problem isn’t lack of progress.

It’s that we’re not really seeing it.

And when that happens…

You start second-guessing.
Overthinking.
Wondering if you should be doing something completely different.

The tool I built for myself is nothing fancy.

But it’s something I’ve been coming back to consistently for the last 4 months!

And no, I didn’t include any gamification.

The real reward is being able to genuinely appreciate the journey I’ve taken and to witness how those small daily victories add up to meaningful growth!

If you’re curious, I just opened a small beta for it.

If you want to try it:

No pressure to use it daily.
No expectation to “do it right.”

One entry is enough to get started.

PS: If your progress feels unclear, it’s very easy to assume nothing is working… and start over when you don’t need to.

NOTE: I’m moving things around in the backend to make room for a new project. Can you help me spot “bad experiences” regarding my site, your members’ area, communications, or whatever? I would really appreciate your help with this! It will make it so much easier for me to fix and improve everything that needs attention. Thank you!

Disclosure: From time to time, I will include links in the emails that would include promotions for my own products or affiliate products, meaning I get paid when you buy the product. However, I only ever mention products I love and would recommend whether I was being compensated or not. Always use due diligence when buying anything and remember, what works for me may not always work for you!
