Hello Reader 👋 Is this the name you would like to be greeted with? I have to admit I didn’t get flooded with replies… But fortunately, some of you came to rescue you with eye-opening feedback 👁️ After all, how can you know what you’d love to learn from me if you don’t even know what I’m skilled at? I may have taken the common advice of writing my emails as if I were speaking to an old friend a little too literally and assumed you’ve known me since … forever 😆 As someone who prides herself on being a Jane of All Trades, I often struggle to answer that question myself! But one thing is sure, I love to sprinkle creativity in everything I touch! Well, that’s what my grandma used to say anyway! So it’s no surprise that my school career, though full of detours, has revolved around this aspect. I have diplomas in pastry and bakery, and a degree in restaurant management and I’ve held a variety of positions, from camp cook to pastry chef in an artisanal bakery, to managing a small bistro when our chef left us suddenly (believe me, it takes a lot of creativity to take over without warning). I also have a diploma in visual arts and a degree as an art teacher. But my career as a substitute-teacher-while-I-waited-for-a-position was short-lived, when I realized for myself just how demanding the job was. My son came to the world just in time to save me! And my new career as a creative WAHM specializing in creating learning fun printables was born shortly after 🍼🎨 My curiosity has since driven me to explore various avenues for expressing my creativity, ranging from innovative marketing strategies to compelling copywriting (I even came to love both along the way embracing the importance of making it fun, engaging and authentic!), to learning new design tools that allow me to bring my ideas to life more easily. Each new skill has opened doors for exciting projects, enabling me to connect with other creatives and keep going despite the ups and downs of juggling family and biz life.
