When one mom decides to embark on a work-at-home journey, it’s easy to imagine all kinds of scenarios, more fantastic than each other…
But that mom quickly realized that it’s finally not that easy…

But I made the decision that I was going to make it!
I didn’t reach my dream life goals yet, but I’m proud of the path I have travelled so far. I cherish the freedom I have to be there for my family when they need me. I’m grateful to be able to take days off when I need them. And I’m especially happy to do something I really love: share my creative passion!
But hear me out, none of this would have become possible if I had stayed alone in front of my computer…
Have you ever heard of the famous Field of Dreams quote: “If you build it, they will come”? Here’s what I understand over my struggling years: If I build something, I increase the odds of people coming my way. Sure, if I put thoughts and energy into a project, I increase the likelihood of success.

This was a life changer for me and my confidence! It is so comforting and embolden to have other people talk about YOUR offer to THEIR list! That led me to get closer to some of my colleagues while we share our struggles together, congratulate each other or simply ask questions once in a while in order to move forward. Those new friendships are precious to me since most of the time, I’m alone in front of my computer.

Hire a Coach
Let me tell you from experience that trying to follow everyone and anyone advice is the best way to become overwhelm and confuse! I was hesitant at first (mostly because of the price…)but I quickly find out that having someone you can turn to to validate your ideas, ask questions, share your fears and successes is priceless!
