Great! You just got yourself a beautiful fall journal. But now, you don’t know what to write inside… Bullet journal pages are perfect to start with. And let me tell you something: they are not just for planning and organizing! When you have all those fun ideas spinning in your head, don’t let them go away and write them in. Whether you have new recipes you want to try or a list of places to go, don’t forget to include them in your journal.
Now here are 3 ideas to help you start writing in your fall journal:.
My Favorite Things About Fall
The first type of collection page you can have in your bullet journal is one that describes your favorite things about the new season coming. The purpose of this is to have gratitude, get into a positive attitude, and really prepare yourself mentally for fall.
It is a fun page to have. You may also want to share your ideas with others via social media. Think of past things you have done in the fall that you might want to include, such as your favorite coffee drink, going to the pumpkin patch as a kid, or having a Halloween party with kids at school.
Activities to Do This Fall
A shorter list you can keep is activities you want to do or places you want to go this fall. Having this collection helps to plan in advance. It even helps for a last minute adventure when you wake up with a sunny and promising day! Try mixing suggestions both in your own local area and by taking a short trip.
Recipes I Want to Try
If you’re anything like me, you find lots of new recipes you want to try even when you’re not looking for any. And when one cross your mind and you’re ready to go, you just can’t remember the name or where you saved it.
You don’t have to copy the whole recipe if you don’t want to, but writing the (exact) name, where it’s from and some of the main ingredients will come handy the day you want to try it!
Here are some of our fall favorite to get you started:
Roasted Tomato and Fennel Soup
Portobello and Sage-Stuffed Acorn Squash
Slow Cooker Apple-Cinnamon Oats
I hope those ideas will help you overcome the blank page syndrome next time you’ll open your fall journal!
